FAQs

What will a Mini Mind & Motion Session look like?

The Mini Mind & Motion class will be 45 minutes long. The session will consist of the following:

  • Opening with shared affirmations and gratitudes.
  • Engaging in an interactive breathwork activity or game.
  • Participating in a movement-based activity or game.
  • Exploring emotional awareness through a sensory-stimulating activity or game.
  • Closing with a gratitude-focused activity.
  • Themed classes for special occasions.

How old does my child have to be to attend?

Currently, our classes are only suitable for children aged 3-8, as this is a key time in their brain development for learning healthy wellbeing and coping strategies.

However, in the future, we are hoping to expand our business and open classes for older age groups - stay tuned!

How much is it?

The cost for a 45 minute session is currently £7.50, with a 20% discount when booking subscription classes. As of December 2025, we will be reviewing our prices.

Where will it be based, and is there parking?

Mini Mind & Motion is located in St. Andrews Church Hall. It is a five minute walk from Hertford North Station, and a ten minute walk from Hertford East.

Directions: Walk down the path directly to the right of the church (face-on) and enter the first gate on the left. Continue following the path and you will see the hall immediately ahead.

Unfortunately, there is no on-site parking, however, St Andrews Castle car park is within a two minute walking distance.

Can I take photos?

You are more than welcome to take photos and videos of your child during Mini Mind & Motion. This being said, we kindly ask that you are mindful (pun intended) of other children appearing in the photographs, and to obtain parental consent to share any photographs of other children on social media platforms.

Do I have to supervise my child?

Parental supervision is required at all Mini Mind and Motion sessions. We have a large space so there is no limit on the number of adults or siblings attending. Whilst the class is commencing, you are welcome to sit back and relax - or join in the fun to give your child a little confidence boost!
